Catalog Graphic Designer - Aurora, NY

Take catalog layouts through various drafts, approvals, design and production from start to finish in accordance with our graphics and brand standards as defined by the Creative Directors for the two luxury brands, MacKenzie-Childs and Jay Strongwater, that comprise Aurora Brands. Work with creative and merchandising teams to create drafts, concepts and storyboards. Page layout and type formatting of catalog spreads. Create and maintain catalog templates. Photoshop catalog beauty shots. Prepare files for press, color proof files and attend press checks. Position requires a BA in Graphic Design or related field with 5 or more years of design experience in print, magazine or catalog experience preferred. Expert at InDesign and Photoshop; experience with Illustrator, Word and Excel. Demonstrated understanding of typography. Editing skills a plus.

Furniture Decorator - Aurora, NY

Furniture Decorators sought for decorating and painting furniture with landscapes and faux finishes, utilizing samples for reference. Will train people with good color sensibilities who are receptive to instruction and open to critique. Previous hand or craft work experience strongly preferred.
