Tradition with a twist sums up the Torquay Candle Lamp as it combines the romance and history of a classic taper candle silhouette with the vibrant neoclassic designs of the Torquay pattern. A design named for a British seaside resort labeled the English Riviera, this piece, like its namesake takes the drama and opulence of the original and adds a certain sensibility. Crafted of clay and adorned with dots, stripes, checks and floral transfers, this English rose is set off with a finial of brass crimped bead, glass amethyst bead, and bone disc.
