The creation myth of the Iroquois people, native to our Finger Lakes region, states that the world is born on the back of a giant turtle. Our reptilian Atlases are a bit smaller, and four work together to support our Round Turtle Table, but the essence of the story remains. A deep reverence for nature is evident in the hand-painted scenes of Cayuga Lake and the natural beauty that surrounds us. Our artisans hand-paint the wood top and form, fire, and hand-decorate the ceramic base with Courtly Checks, brass beads and tartan ribbon. This breathtaking table seems the stuff of legends itself.

Our Turtle Table is supported in style by four strong and steady turtles, and the top is a hand painted Cayuga Lake scene with a bird's eye view of the natural beauty that surrounds us. Top: Round wood with hand-painted landscape and Courtly Check border trimmed in black enamel and gold powder mixture. Base: Handmade and decorated majolica base with tartan ribbon and brass bead decoration on columns, artist colors mural landscape and checks with ceramic turtles and gold bullion rope.
