While quite handsome from any distance, the intricate splendor of our Courtly Check® Tiles emerge upon closer inspection. Hand-painted by master artisans on red clay, our signature black and white checks are hardly a sterile two-tone affair, with a dash of rich jewel tones woven into each brushstroke. A wide, glittering band of gold lustre frames each one-of-a-kind tile. Coordinate with the rich hues of our Frank and Mustard Stripe Tiles for a cozy kitchen, or set between our Black Field and Simply White Tiles for a dramatic hearth inlay.

Materials: Handmade, hand-painted red clay, glazed with simply white ceramic glaze, decorative effects, hand-painted with china paints with hand applied gold lustre embellishments. Avoid harsh abrasives. Not recommended for heavy traffic areas. Avoid exterior installation in climates with freeze/thaw concerns as clay is absorbent and may freeze and crack in these conditions.
