MacLachlan comes full circle. Here in our Aurora studio, we create each piece from red clay, carefully shaping and hand trimming the braided edge, kiln-firing it to become terra cotta, adding glazes and ceramic transfers, which in turn depict scenes from our converted 19th century dairy farm in the Finger Lakes region where we create these heirloom treasures. The Winter Platter is steeped in MacKenzie-Childs tradition with a nostalgic winter scene set here at our Victorian dairy farm in the Finger Lakes. Framed in gold lustre and Courtly Checks®, the platter is an heirloom for the ages, designed to capture your own family traditions.
