MacLachlan Dinner Plate
MacLachlan comes full circle. Here in our Aurora studio, we create each piece from red clay, carefully shaping and hand-trimming the braided edge, kiln-firing it to become terra cotta, adding glazes and ceramic transfers, which in turn depict scenes from our converted 19th century dairy farm in the Finger Lakes region where we create these heirloom treasures. Framed in gold lustre, floral transfers and our signature Courtly Checks, the light cast by a Northern sun over our pastures and barns tells a beautiful story every time you set the table.
