Sweet and petite, the rippling rim of our hand-painted, majolica Hitchcock Field Fluted Saucer looks picture-perfect with the matching cup, exquisitely eccentric paired with a different Taylor pattern, or dashingly different set against one of our enamelware patterns. This Taylor pattern pays tribute to the vibrant colors of summer on the farm: sunburst chevrons of raspberry, mint, and buttercup; petite raspberry-colored blooms and vines; and a latticework center that recalls a summer field neatly planted with corn. Each piece is accented with bold black and white squares and a band of plum. For years and years, Charlie Hitchcock and his trusty horse plowed and farmed MacKenzie-Childs’ meadows and fields. Today, Hitchcock Field is filled with wildflowers, Highland cattle, and sunshine. Lively yet relaxed, Hitchcock Field is the perfect design to celebrate many a rewarding day spent in in the garden.
