Present benefits to newly eligible employees, enroll employees, set up payroll deductions, answer questions, resolve issues, prepare required notices and mailings, and terminate coverages. Process disability and workers compensation claims. Requires the ability to master the details of benefit offerings and communicate them effectively to employees. Requires organization and the ability to write and speak effectively. Previous employee benefits experience preferred. Assist in other HR duties as needed such as inputting time records. organizing payroll, writing job descriptions, following up on performance appraisals and summarizing exit interview responses.

Clayforming Finisher – Aurora, NY

Responsible to trim, assemble and press a variety of slip forms maintaining quality and production standards. May assemble and finish clay product using a variety of hand tools using care in handling of ware. Must be flexible in accepting work assignments and able to work in a team environment. Designer – Aurora, NY

The MacKenzie-Childs Design team is looking for a talented, full time Designer in our Aurora, New York studio. The position reports directly to the Creative Director. We are looking for someone who is seeking creative employment where he or she can grow and learn with the company. The candidate will be working designing for textiles and upholstered furniture. Essential responsibilities include designing pieces that continue and contribute to the brand strategy of MacKenzie-Childs; developing new products from concept to working drawings; developing prototypes; creating manufacturing specification design packets; supporting the launch schedule by complete, on time delivery of key milestones; developing manufacturing prototypes for pre production processing and coordinating regularly with marketing, sales and manufacturing functions on product specifications.

Furniture Decoration – Aurora, NY

Decorating and painting furniture with landscapes and faux finishes, utilizing samples for reference. Will train people with good color sensibilities who are receptive to instruction and open to critique. Previous hand or craft work experience strongly preferred. Four day work week Mon-Thurs 6:30 am - 5:00 pm. Medical and dental benefits available after successful completion of the 90 day trial period. Position requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent.

Kiln/Wax and Glaze Worker – Aurora, NY

Responsible to load and unload kilns, learning proper handling of ware, kiln process control standards and programming. Ideal candidate will be willing to learn all aspects of kiln room operation including oversight of the bisque warehouse. Work Assignments rotate with Glaze Department. Attention to detail, organization, efficiency and self motivation are key to ensuring successful kiln firings. Repetitive movement and lifting of materials/product weighing upwards of 20 lbs required. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Full time.

Pottery Decoration – Aurora, NY

Work with supervisor, trainer and quality control to achieve quality decorated pottery in an efficient manner, recognizing harmony in color and proportion. Must possess good brush skills as well as the ability to work with different mediums. Position requires attention to detail and a willingness and desire to accept and learn from others. Requires a positive attitude, and the flexibility to train in various pottery decoration departments. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. while using proper lifting techniques, sit for long periods of time and bend and reach for objects often. Requires a High School diploma or GED.

Quality Control Inspector – Aurora, NY

Reports to Supervisor of Technical Services. Responsible for incoming inspection of components and finished goods. Must be able to lift boxes of components ranging from 40-60 lb and cartons of enamelware weighing between 30 -50 lbs frequently during with tight turnaround deadlines. Visual inspection requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a focused manner. High school diploma or GED required.

Retail Sales, part time – Aurora, NY

Part time retail sales associate for our headquarters store located in Aurora NY on the shores of beautiful Cayuga lake. Retail hours 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, some weekend days required. Previous luxury sales experience helpful but will train the right individual. Enthusiasm about the brand and the ability to impart the MacKenzie-Childs story desired!

Sales Associate – Aurora, NY

Full time Sales Associate position in our Aurora retail store. Assist customers with their purchases guiding them to their points of interest in our product offerings. Cashier, wrap and replenish stock. Weekends and some holidays required. Must be interested in assisting others and be excited about imparting the whimsy and wholesomeness of the MacKenzie Childs brand to our visitors. Position requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in high end retail preferred. Full time.

Visual Production Associate – Aurora, NY

Creative, self-motivated, strong artist vision along with fabrication skills, including working with hand tools. Ability to read and execute plans and diagrams. Ability to work as both part of a team, and independently with little supervision. Highly organized with attention to detail. Position may include frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and the use of ladders and other equipment. Prior visual display, art installation, or set design and/or building experience a plus.

Customer Service Lead – Auburn, NY

Lead the customer call center reps providing exceptional customer service, recommending solutions, answering customer emails, scheduling for our onsite 7 day a week call center, interviewing and training new personnel. Perform daily processing as needed i.e. credit card decline/customer and quote hold reports, releasing orders in review, processing and activating gift cards, international quote requests, catalog removal requests, etc. Receive incoming calls with the rest of the call center staff, as well as accepting transfers from other representatives upon request for a supervisor.

Assembly, Packing and Shipping – Union Springs, NY

Responsible, dependable, organized individual able to deliver a highly productive and well organized assembly/packing/shipping area. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to perform light assembly work. High school diploma or GED required.

Shipping Coordinator – Union Springs, NY

We are looking for a candidate that has less than truckload shipping experience and is familiar with using the NMFC classification guidelines to identify the NMFC code and class for outbound LTL shipments. The candidate should be comfortable with using the major freight carrier’s website Bill of lading tool to create the necessary shipping documents. The candidate must be familiar with MS Outlook and MS Excel. The ideal candidate has between 2-4 years of experience in this field, good communication skills, and the ability to work independent of direct supervision.
