What is The Outlet?

Not all treasures are silver and gold! The Outlet at MacKenzie-Childs is your place to hunt for your next treasure. With new merchandise added regularly, your search might yield one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces, discontinued prints and patterns you may recognize from years past, original samples, high-quality seconds, and so much more. You will want to return often for new special and beautiful pieces much like the ones you’ve come to love from us and to keep your mother-in-law wondering just where you got that!

What is the difference in the quality of the inventory? Is it all first-quality?

The Outlet inventory is a mix of first-quality samples, seconds (products that may have minor imperfections), and retired items. Requests regarding product availability may not be accommodated as inventory is expected to vary daily. The Outlet inventory is not the same as our regular-priced merchandise listed on our website. If you are interested in our first-quality products, shop online or at our store in SoHo.

Will there be any discounts at The Outlet?

Yes! Each item that comes into The Outlet will start at a special price—up to 70% off.

Will there be new items added to The Outlet?

Yes! New products will be frequently added, and we anticipate they will sell through quickly. Check back each day to see what is new. Follow us on Instagram at @TheMCoutlet.

If I see something in The Outlet that I recently purchased, will you adjust the price of my previous purchase?

No price adjustments will be made for The Outlet merchandise or on previous sales of The Outlet inventory. All purchases made at The Outlet are final sale. No returns will be accepted. No exceptions will be made.

Will I receive trulyMC loyalty points for my outlet purchases?

Yes! If you are a member of our trulyMC loyalty program, you will receive loyalty points for purchases made at The Outlet. If you’re not a member yet, you can sign up at mackenzie-childs.com/loyalty; to receive points, you must complete signup before making your purchase.

Can I use a coupon, free shipping benefit or other promotions/discounts at The Outlet?

Coupons, discounts, and promotions including (but not limited to) any free shipping or free freight offers, as well as coupons for a percentage off your purchase (such as 10% birthday/first purchase discounts), cannot be honored or redeemed at The Outlet. These offers can be redeemed online or at MacKenzie-Childs SoHo.

Which payment methods can I use at The Outlet?

We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), and MacKenzie-Childs gift cards at checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also accepted.

Will The Outlet offer any shipment options?

Shipping options are not available at The Outlet. Local delivery may be available for oversized furniture and rugs—ask an associate about options.

Will The Outlet offer any gift wrapping?

Gift wrapping and/or boxes are not available at The Outlet either as a service or as a purchase.

What are the COVID-19 guidelines?

  • For the safety of our guests and staff, all visitors must follow these guidelines.
  • Face masks that cover the nose and mouth are always required on the grounds.
  • Per New York State guidelines, we will adhere to maximum capacity rules in the store.
  • High-traffic touch points will be sanitized throughout the day.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the store for your safety.
  • Please adhere to social distance markers while in line and while shopping in the store.
  • No pets (outside service animals only) will be allowed on the grounds during the sale event.
  • Failure to follow our COVID-19 guidelines may result in being asked to leave the MacKenzie-Childs premises.
