Dawn joined the company in 2004 and holds degrees in advertising and design. She’s worked in three different departments, visuals, where she focused on special projects and spent some time painting at our New York City store; pottery decorating, where she painted patterns on our ceramics; and furniture decoration. Dawn says she likes the variety of what she does, noting that a single piece of furniture can have several techniques on it, from faux marble to gold leaf. She enjoys being challenged and has even taken on painting one of our massive Courtly Check Moose Heads more than once. In her spare time, she is involved in puppetry and makes marionettes, which she uses to perform puppet shows. She would like to establish a program for mentoring children who are also interested in the art of puppetry.
