Standard Delivery Charges
Unless otherwise indicated, delivery charges are based on the dollar volume of your order. Delivery charges are subject to change. You will be notified of any change in the delivery charge at the time your order is placed.
The standard (ground) delivery charge is 10% of the order’s subtotal.
Orders for in-stock items will ship within five business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) from the day your order is placed, and will be sent via UPS, FedEx or USPS. Expect arrival within seven business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) after we ship. A street address is required for all deliveries; we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
State sales tax
Due to our corporate presence and/or corporate activities, we must charge state sales tax in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming. The tax charged includes all state and local sales taxes that apply, and is based on the product subtotal plus shipping (where applicable).
Overnight and 2-Day Expedited Delivery Methods
Overnight and 2-day express delivery charges are offered within the 48 contiguous United States (including Washington, D.C.) at the following rates: The 2-day delivery charge is 12% of the order subtotal, with a minimum charge of $19.95. The overnight delivery charge is 15% of the order subtotal, with a minimum charge of $29.95. Expedited delivery is not available for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, nor for large items that require freight shipping. If ordered on a regular business day (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) before 12:00 pm Eastern time, overnight delivery guarantees that in-stock orders will be shipped out on the same day and arrive by the end of the following business day. All orders placed after 12:00 pm Eastern time, on a holiday, or over the weekend will begin processing and ship the following business day.
2-Day Express Delivery
If ordered on a regular business day (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) before 12:00 pm Eastern time, 2-day express delivery guarantees that in-stock orders will be shipped out on the same day and arrive by the end of the second business day following the order date. All orders placed after 12:00 pm Eastern time, on a holiday, or over the weekend will begin processing and ship the following business day.
For items that require freight delivery, each item has a fixed delivery charge instead of a charge based on dollar value. You will see these charges reflected during checkout. Our standard freight delivery option is curbside with liftgate. The freight company will call in advance to make a delivery appointment; an adult must be present at delivery to inspect and sign for the shipment. If you require additional assistance at the time of delivery, please call Customer Service to discuss upgraded delivery options prior to placing your order. In-Home Delivery (White Glove Service)
We offer a white-glove delivery service for a number of large items that will be brought into your home, unpacked, assembled if required, placed at your discretion, and packing materials removed. Some items require white glove delivery, and there is an additional charge for this service. Please contact our customer service department with any questions.
Alaska/Hawaii/Puerto Rico Delivery
Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are eligible for standard shipping only; freight, white glove, and expedited shipping are not available to these locations. The standard delivery charge is 25% of the order’s subtotal.
Orders outside the United States (all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico) cannot be placed with MacKenzie-Childs directly at this time. Please use our store locator to find a distributor in your area.
